Anthony Goulart
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Anthony brings over a decade of Special Operations experience focused on personnel recovery, emergency medical care, and tactical operations in austere environments. As Founder and CEO of XPJ, he leads a collective of former U.S. Air Force Pararescuemen delivering elite protection and medical readiness for ultra-high-net-worth families, private clients, and organizations worldwide. At XPJ, Anthony oversees strategic direction, operations, and partnerships, translating battle-tested operational discipline into refined private-sector solutions. His leadership blends tactical precision with strong interpersonal intelligence — creating protection programs that balance authority, discretion, and trust while maintaining the highest operational standards. Anthony holds multiple advanced certifications, including NREMT-Paramedic, Associate Degree in Personnel Recovery, PADI Master Diver, Military Freefall Jumpmaster, Advanced Tactical Paramedic, and TECC/TCCC Instructor credentials. Driven by values of honor, loyalty, and courage, Anthony believes that strong leadership begins with self-awareness, discipline, and meaningful relationships — principles that shape XPJ’s culture and commitment to excellence.

Erik Hebert
Director of Training
Erik is a seasoned Special Tactics Pararescueman (PJ) with more than a decade of operational experience across the Middle East and Africa. Following his military service, he spent several years in the private sector supporting executive protection and high-risk operations, bringing real-world adaptability into every mission and training program. As XPJ’s Director of Training, Erik leads curriculum development, operational standards, and field readiness across the organization. His leadership ensures that XPJ’s teams and clients benefit from disciplined execution, medical excellence, and practical decision-making under pressure. Erik’s depth of experience strengthens XPJ’s ability to deliver elite protection and medical readiness in both corporate and private environments.

Brian Rojas
Financial Strategy
Brian is a high-performing special operations veteran driven by a mission to save lives through decisive problem-solving and to bring out the best in those around him. He brings a disciplined, forward-thinking approach to complex operational environments, combining innovative thinking with calm, deliberate execution under pressure. At XPJ, Brian supports operational planning, executive decision-making, and on-the-ground leadership across protective and medical engagements. His ability to assess rapidly evolving situations, communicate clearly, and stabilize high-stress environments allows teams to operate with confidence and precision. Brian’s leadership style emphasizes accountability, adaptability, and continuous growth — ensuring every mission is executed with excellence and integrity.a

Paul Moldovean
Business Development
Paul Moldovean brings over two decades of experience in special operations, rescue, and leadership to his role as Director of Operations at XPJ. As a former U.S. Air Force Pararescueman, he supported global missions ranging from combat search and rescue to complex medical evacuations, later transitioning into senior rescue specialist roles on government contracts where he helped raise operational standards across aviation and medical support programs. At XPJ, Paul oversees operations with a focus on executive protection, advanced medical training, and expeditionary support. He emphasizes professionalism, precision, and a solutions-oriented approach, ensuring that clients benefit from both proven tactical expertise and modern best practices. Paul is currently completing his Executive MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, further developing his capabilities in strategy, finance, and organizational leadership. He combines hands-on operational knowledge with business acumen to position XPJ as a trusted partner in both government and private sectors.

Nick Adagio
Business Development & Talent Acquisition
Nick is an experienced leader and operations manager with a strong background in military operations and multi-domain rescue environments. He brings expertise in project management, budget analysis, disaster recovery, and medical operations, supporting XPJ’s ability to scale complex protection engagements with precision and accountability. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the United States Air Force Academy and an MBA from Louisiana State University Shreveport. At XPJ, he leads recruitment and validation of Pararescue personnel to ensure every operator meets the highest standards for executive protection and medical readiness. He also serves in active field roles as a security advisor, protective agent, driver, and team leader supporting ultra-high-net-worth clients, public figures, and corporate executives.

Hank Couzens
NEEDS TITLE
Hank supports XPJ’s business development and growth initiatives, contributing to fundraising strategy, partnership development, and long-term investment planning. His background in financial analysis and organizational growth helps ensure XPJ remains operationally strong, scalable, and strategically positioned. Prior to his current role, Hank worked on the audit staff at Ehrhardt Keefe Steiner & Hottman, where he audited both public and private companies across multiple industries, building a strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and operational assessment. Hank holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Kansas and brings disciplined financial insight to XPJ’s leadership and advisory functions.

RJ Casey
Board of Advisors
RJ Casey brings more than 35 years of experience across special operations, multidomain recovery, humanitarian assistance, and disaster response. His career includes combat tours on four continents supporting the Department of Defense and multiple government agencies, delivering mission-critical leadership in complex operational environments worldwide. A veteran entrepreneur, RJ has founded and advised multiple companies while continuing to consult for nonprofit organizations, film and television productions, and international partners. His unique blend of operational expertise and business leadership strengthens XPJ’s strategic vision, operational scalability, and cross-sector partnerships. Security Clearance: TS/SCI

Dr. Michael Guirguis
Medical Director
Dr. Michael Guirguis is an emergency medicine physician with over 22 years of experience specializing in tactical medicine, flight medicine, emergency medical services, and prehospital care. He is the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Raven Medical Support Group, providing medical oversight and operational direction for private family offices and corporate executive protection teams worldwide. Dr. Guirguis serves as a Reserve Deputy and Flight Physician with the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Air Rescue, delivering advanced medical care in high-risk rescue environments. He was awarded the department’s Medal of Valor for his role in a 2013 rescue of two wounded law enforcement officers during a high-risk standoff. A recognized leader in protective medicine, Dr. Guirguis contributes to national industry standards through the Board of Executive Protection Professionals and has been widely published in Security Magazine, EP Wired, Journal of Travel Medicine, and the Journal of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine. His expertise strengthens XPJ’s mission to deliver world-class medical readiness integrated seamlessly into elite protection operations.

Derek Anderson
Board of Advisors
Derek Anderson is an experienced executive leader with more than two decades of success in the Defense and Special Operations community. His background spans military operations, protective services, and organizational leadership, bringing strategic insight and operational discipline to XPJ’s advisory team. Derek holds a Master’s degree in Allied Health Sciences from Trident University International and is fluent in both Spanish and French. His international perspective and leadership experience support XPJ’s global operations, client engagement strategy, and long-term growth initiatives.

XPJ instructors are elite professionals with extensive experience in special operations, emergency medicine, and protective services. Each brings real-world operational knowledge into the classroom, delivering practical, high-level training designed for professionals who demand more than standard instruction.

Gabe Crouse
Lead Instructor
With over 30 years of experience as a U.S. Air Force Pararescueman and Special Operations Medic, Gabe brings a deep well of combat-tested expertise to XPJ. He’s completed more than 20 deployments across Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, and other global AOs, serving as a lead medic and CSAR/PR team leader for JSOC, and USG missions. Gabe has also managed multi-aircraft personnel recovery and CASEVAC operations across East Africa and advised on key DOD medical programs like BATDOK and CDP. His insights have been published in JSOM, Oxford Academic, and featured on the PJ Medcast—cementing his reputation as one of the most respected voices in the field. Certifications: NREMT-Paramedic, TCCC, PHTLS, Austere & Prolonged Field Care, Airborne, HALO, Dive, and Rescue Swimmer Qualified

Paul "Rod" Rodriguez
Lead Instructor
Rod is a highly experienced Pararescueman with 10 years in active duty, operating in both SOPAC and CENTCOM regions. He has worked in executive protection roles and served as a Pararescue schoolhouse instructor. Rod is also a certified astronaut recovery specialist, supporting NASA and commercial space operations. His credentials include NREMT-Paramedic, as well as instructor-level certifications in TECC, TCCC, PHTLS, EPC, ACLS, and BLS. Rod brings a calm, mission-ready mindset to every training environment.

Tim "TK" Kline
Lead Instructor
TK is a tactical medic and rescue expert with over a decade of experience as an RQS Pararescueman and OGA contractor. He also brings 15 years of service as an ocean rescue specialist and has provided operational support across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. TK has served as an astronaut recovery specialist for NASA and commercial space crews and is a professional MMA fighter. He is certified as an NREMT-Paramedic, TECC Instructor, PHTLS Provider, and American Red Cross Instructor for both CPR and Emergency Medical Response.
